SAI Using Scopes on Site® to Assist in Gulf Coast Relief Efforts
SAI has deployed several of its top analysts to aid in hurricane Katrina relief efforts in Gulfport, Mississippi and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Using our Scopes on Site® mobile labs, SAI has been assisting in the environmental analysis of a number of sites on the Gulf. The labs are furnished with state of the art Leica microscopes for PCM asbestos and air analysis and mold analysis by direct tape lift examination and spore trap analysis.
According to SAI President Sean Fitzgerald, “Our SOS® analysts go above and beyond the call of duty to provide heretofore unavailable client service in this time of need. We’re proud to be able to help analyze the safety of the hard-hit Gulf region for residents and businesses. We’ll be there as long as we are needed to monitor air quality and the environment as the region recovers.”
