SAI’s light microscopes are made by Leica, leader in high quality optics. Our electron microscopes, state-of-the-art JEOL TEMs, expertly handle identification of asbestos, while also serving as a more sophisticated tool for forensic and materials analysis.
Our Microbiology Laboratory employs the BiOLOG system, using automated biochemical assay to accurately distinguish between more than 1,800 fungal and bacterial species, allowing more versatility than narrowly-focused methods such as PCR.
SAI is equipped with a 2006 PANalytical X-ray Diffraction (XRD) manufactured specifically for SAI. This machine allows our experts to analyze silica and other materials with impressive accuracy in unparalleled turn-around-times.
